Good Employment Week Launch Event
This invite-only event marks the launch of Greater Manchester Good Employment Week 2026. Attendees will hear about this year's theme “What does your Work Feel Like?”, celebrate new Charter Members and explore a new workplace culture engagement platform alongside networking with employers and partners from across Greater Manchester.

Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter: Introduction Webinar
This webinar is designed for organisations that want to learn more about the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter and how to get involved. Attendees will gain an overview of the Charter's purpose, the seven characteristics of good employment, the benefits of getting involved and the different ways organisations can engage with the Charter. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about becoming a Supporter.​‌

Keep Britain Working Review: Consultation Workshop
As part of our Good Employment Week activities, we have been working with the Government’s Keep Britain Working team to hold this early consultation event on the developing Keep Britain Working Standard. This is a unique opportunity for us to understand how the standard has been developed and to provide real life experience and feedback on how it might work in practice across different sectors and scales of organisation.

Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter: Good Employment Culture Workshop
This invite-only workshop will bring together leaders, practitioners and industry specialists to explore emerging Good Employment Charter workplace culture models and help shape their future development. Through collaborative discussion and feedback, attendees will contribute to the Charter's ongoing work to support positive workplace culture and influence its future direction across Greater Manchester.

What does Good Employment Look Like for People with Criminal Records?
Hosted by Back on Track and Castlefield Recruitment as part of Good Employment Week 2026, this event will explore what it means to be a good employer when it comes to recruiting and supporting people with criminal records. Through contributions from criminal justice professionals, employers and people with lived experience, attendees will gain insights into the role employment can play in rehabilitation and learn about approaches being developed across Greater Manchester to create inclusive employment opportunities.

Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter: Best Practice Conference and Assembly
Join us for the Good Employment Charter's annual Best Practice Conference and the introduction of the GMGEC Assembly. Bringing together employers, Charter Members and partners from across Greater Manchester, the event will showcase inspiring examples of good employment in action, celebrate organisations leading the way and explore the future direction of the Charter. Attendees will hear from sector leaders, gain practical insights, and contribute to discussions on the opportunities and challenges shaping good employment across the region.
